O'Keefe's Irish Pub & Restaurant at 115 South Rockingham Avenue, Tavares, Florida.

A couple of things really ruined this restaurant for me. The food was absolutely atrocious for the price: 11.50 for a grilled chicken salad? One of the pieces of chicken was basically rotten and hard, the lettuce was stale, the tomato was hard and inedible, and they threw in a single piece of broccoli that wasn't even cooked - at that point I just laughed. Just extremely disappointing. When I showed the waitress this piece of chicken, she just mumbled sorry and walked off. I guess you can get away with abysmally low standards when you're on the Tavares waterfront. I wouldn't have paid 4 dollars for that abomination. The other thing was the smoke. We decided to sit outside to enjoy the aforementioned waterfront, but there was a group of ancients just dangling lit cigarettes for about 10 minutes at a time. I understand this is an outdoor area, but can you guys at least make a SECTION of that area smoke free? It's so closed off it might as well be indoors. However, the real issue was the food. The only reason this place isn't getting a 1 is because of the view. Skip it, it's barely worth the trip.
